Nyuh Kuning
Five minutes walk from the centre of Ubud is Nyuh Kuning.
It is the traditional village of woodcarving artists. It is
also a place for leisurely strolls - wanders though the rice
paddies, lazy rambles through the monkey forest where you
can see group of monkeys ever ready for passing tourists who
just might have peanuts or bananas available for a hand-out.
Nyuh Kuning is a place where the evenings are quiet and you
can really tell you're in Bali.
