Massages :

Mandara Massage:  Our signature treatment.  A relaxing massage performed by two therapists working in concert employing a blend of five approaches:  Japanese shiatsu, Thai Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Swedish and Balinese.  Pure pleasure. 

Balinese Massage:  Combines stretching, long strokes, skin rolling and palm and thumb pressure techniques.  Promotes relaxation and a sense of harmony. 

Thai Massage:  Firm, dry massage technique combining attention to Chinese pressure points and Ayurvedan stretching techniques.  Stimulates blood flow, releases toxins, promotes healing. 

Swedish massage:  Classic full-body massage employing long, kneading strokes.  Promotes total relaxation, eases muscle stress.

Aromatherapy Massage:  Swedish-style massage techniques coupled with special blends of natural essential oils designed to relax, energize, detoxify and more, as the guest chooses. 

Deep Tissue Massage:  Swedish massage with deeper, more direct pressure concentrating in specific muscle groups.  Eliminates deeply rooted tension, releases tightness and reduces muscle pain.  

Shiatsu:  Japanese pressure point massage based on the same principles as acupuncture.  Eases fatigue, promotes flow of energy.  

Reflexology:  Traditional massage employs pressure on the soles of the feet to induce deep relaxation, improve circulation; combined with immersion of the feet in a cool mineral bath.  

Mother-To-Be Massage and Body Treatment:  Natural, hypoallergenic products soothe, heal and protect mother's skin; dry body buff and calming lotion restore moisture followed by gentle massage focused on reducing tension in the back, neck, legs and feet.   

In-Room Massages:  At many resorts, arrangements can be made to provide treatments in the guest's room, if desired

Facial :

Deep Cleansing:  Warmth and moisture are used to open and cleanse pores, followed by a mask to exfoliate and detoxify and a moisturizing treatment.  

Revitalizing:  European-style facial using custom-blended cleansers and moisturizers and a mask of natural plant extracts.  

Rejuvenating:  Deluxe facial that nourishes and tones, employing skin cleansing, a mask, massage and other techniques.

Aromatherapy:  Fragrant herbs and other natural ingredients detoxify and hydrate the skin while botanical extracts and oils relieve stress, enhance moods and balance the mind.   

Whitening:  A treatment to decongest, smooth and lighten delicate, sensitive skin, leaving a radiant glow.  

Hydration Facial:  Designed to restore moisture after exposure to dry climates or excess sun, this facial employees aromatherapy and a mask made of natural fruit extracts and vitamins.

Exfoliant Facial:  For particularly dull, dry skin, employing chemical ingredients to gently remove outer skin cells, allowing vibrant new skin cells to surface.  Finished with aromatherapy massage.  

Men's Facial:  A European-style deep-cleansing, purifying and relaxing facial that hydrates and rejuvenates the skin; perfect for skin irritated by exposure or shaving.  

Other Facials:  seaweed, collagen, French Caviar (at Paris-Las Vegas); also special treatments for the ultra-sensitive area around the eyes.

Body treatment :

Clay Body Mask:  Gentle body scrub followed by detoxification with mineral-rich Sedona clay and a period spend wrapped comfortably in a thermal blanket while the clay purifies and cleanses.  Moisturizing treatment follows.  

Thalasso Slimming:  A seaweed mask wraps the skin in minerals, trace elements and vitamins, promoting cleansing and elimination of excess fluids.  Plant and marine extracts are used to hydrate and firm delicate tissues of the bust area.  

Dead Sea Salt Scrub:  A massage with a mixture of water, salt crystals and essential oils to remove impurities and leave body and skin restored.  

Tropical Body Polish:  Traditional Javanese treatment beginning with a footbath and then a polish with an herb blend from the Spice Islands.  A cooling yogurt splash and refreshing shower follow.   

Javanese Lulur:  Deliciously aromatic treatment with a blend of powdered spices to soften, exfoliate and smooth the skin. 

Balinese Boreh:  Traditional Balinese specialty scrub made from indigenous ingredients including such warming spices as cloves, pepper, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger and galangal.   

Excellent for relieving fever, headache, muscle ache, arthritis pain and for improving blood circulation.  While the wrap is at work, a head and neck massage is given.  

Also Available:  mud body masks, seaweed or marine masks, scrubs employing coconut or coffee, antioxidant green tea wraps, herbal wraps, masks designed to soothe sunburned skin, self-tanning treatments, paraffin treatments for hands and feet, hair wraps of various kinds.

Ayurvedic Treatment :

Ayurveda Facial:  Gentle treatment employs 100 percent pure aromatherapy oils infused into the skin via gentle massage and warm compresses.  The massage, using acupressure and stroking techniques, covers the upper body.  A refreshing facial mask follows.   

 Shira Darah:  Massage followed by Ayurvedic oil flow treatment, in which a gentle flow of warm oil is dripped onto the third eye on the forehead, calming and relaxing.  Followed by scalp massage and shampoo.

Salon services :
Most of our spas offer a full range of hair, makeup and nail treatments including hair cutting, condition, coloring and styling; manicures and pedicures (natural and artificial); waxing and makeup application and consultation services.  Also offered at some outlets are various herbal and mineral conditioning wraps for the hair, paraffin treatments for the hands and feet and manicures and pedicures paired with massage.

Combinations and Packages :

All Mandara Spas make available specially designed packages for singles and couples, often offered in luxurious villas or suites, combining various treatments as well as time for relaxation and long sessions in soaking tubs or whirlpool baths.
