Upon arrival at Hasanuddin Airport Makassar, meeting service. Afterwards, take a scenic drive to Tanjung Bira , located on the southern tip of Sulawesi island famous for its ancient mariners, white sandy beaches and fresh and clear sea water. On the way will visit Bissappu waterfall in Bantaeng district. Lunch en route. In the afternoon, stop in Tana Beru to see the traditional Phinisi boat construction. Free program upon arrive in Bira. Dinner and overnight at a simple accommodation in Tanjung Bira.
Day 02 :
BIRA FREE PROGRAM + KAJANG TOUR (B,L,D)
After breakfast, your free day at leisure in Bira beach. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch we will take you to Kajang where we will explore the secret of the black culture of the primitive Ammatowa. In the afternoon back to Tanjung Bira. Dinner and overnight at a simple accommodation.
Day 03 :
DRIVE TO SENGKANG (B,L,D)
After breakfast, your free day at leisure at Bira beach. Than drive to Sengkang, located on the center of the former Bugis kingdom. Lunch will be served in Wattampone. After lunch we will visit the Museum of Andi Mappasissi where we can see all ancient collections from the past Bone kingdom. In the afternoon, arrive in Sengkang, directly we visit the Lake Tempe where we will have a boat trip to explore the daily life of the Bugis fishermen who do live on the floating houses. Dinner and overnight at a simple accommodation in Sengkang.
Day 04 :
DRIVE TO TANA TORAJA (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we will visit the traditional silk factory where women hand spin and weave silk clothes. Than drive to Tana Toraja via Palopo where we will find many spectacular views along the road from Palopo to Tana Toraja. Lunch en route. In the afternoon arrive in Tana Toraja. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 :
FULL DAY TANA TORAJA TOUR (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we will take you on a full day exploring of Tana Toraja. First we will visit the stone hanging grave of Lemo with its Tau-Tau effigies. Then to Kambira where we can find an extraordinary baby graves on trees. Then we will explore the architecture of Tongkonan houses in Ketekesu village. Londa is a natural grave where we can find entombed deceased. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Rantepao. In the afternoon, we visit Nanggala and Siguntuk , local Torajan villages famous for their old Tongkonan houses and rice barns. Then back to the Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 06 :
FULL DAY TANA TORAJA TOUR (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we will take you on a full day Tana Toraja tour. In the morning we will visit Tinombayo where we can enjoy the spectacular view of the megalith stones spread over the immense rice terraces. Then to a burial cave of Lokomata . From Lokomata, we continue our trip to Batutumonga where we will a have short trekking to enjoy many beautiful panorama through the green rice terraces and experience the unique Torajan daily life style. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Batutumonga. In the afternoon, we will visit Pallawa & Sa'dan , local Torajan villages famous as the wood carving center. Then back to the Hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Then back to the Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 07 :
DRIVE BACK TO MAKASSAR / TRANSFER OUT (B,L)
After breakfast, drive back to Makassar . On the way stop on the Puncak Lakawan for having coffee break while enjoy the wonderful view of mount Buttukabobong . Lunch will be served at seafood restaurant in Pare-Pare. In the afternoon arrive in Makassar . Onwards, transfer directly to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 08 :
TRANSFER OUT (B)
After breakfast, if still have any time, we will take you on a short city tour in Makassar . Than transfer directly to Hasanuddin Airport Makassar to catch your flight for your next destination. End of tour.
